With spring fast arriving, it’s time to switch up our make up routine to match the season. And what better way to start than by switching up to lighter bases for our skin to achieve that healthy and dewy look we all dream of!

Diorskin Nude Air Serum Foundation £33

With a blend of various skin-loving plant oils, vitamins and minerals, the lightweight and runny texture of this foundation makes it feel a lot like a serum rather than a foundation. Despite its ultra thin texture, it provides sufficient coverage to conceal redness and light pigmentations on the face without feeling and looking too much like foundation. When applied, the Diorskin Nude Air goes on smooth and leaves you with a finish that sits between velvety and dewy, perfect for those ‘no make-up’ make-up days. It applies like a dream and looks like flawless second skin.

NARS Sheer Glow £31

This popular foundation is silky smooth in texture and has a satin near-matte natural looking finish while still providing a long and sheer coverage to the skin. Despite it not being dewy, it’s a lightweight foundation that really allows the natural glow of your skin to shine through. It offers light to medium coverage on the skin but is one of those highly buildable ones for days when you feel like you need more help covering up. The NARS Sheer Glow also comes in 20 different shades so there’ll be something for everyone.

Lancôme Miracle Cushion £30

Following the rising trend of cushion compacts in South Korea, Lancôme’s Miracle Cushion is the next big thing in the Western make-up world. This technology allows for nourishing skin-friendly ingredients to be added into the cream product to give you a sheer, glowing veil that almost looks like a second skin. The formula is incredibly lightweight and cooling when applied on your skin, perfect for all the sunny days to come in spring and summer. The sponge applicator also makes it super easy to apply and the compactness of the product allows for convenient on-the-go touch ups.

Dr Jart+ Regenerating BB Cream £18

This wonderful Korean BB cream was launched in the UK a few years back, and has seen massive popularity due to all the benefits that is contained within a single product. It claims to moisturize, tone, prime, give sun protection whilst also offering good coverage at the same time. The Regenerating BB Cream both hydrates and brightens your skin, giving that natural radiant dewy look that everyone covets. It also contains SPF30 to help protect your skin against the sun on those lovely spring picnic days.

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream £28

Similar to other CC creams on the market, this Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream is ideal for daily wear or ‘make up free’ days because of its lightweight and skin-like texture when applied. It acts as a tinted sunblock but with all the different benefits and corrective properties that come along with it. Unlike BB creams that are mainly for those with blemished skin, this CC cream aims to colour correct the redness and dark patches on our skin, leaving us with a wonderful skin-like finish.
